Service Description: Every encampment can have details about inspection, notification, clean up, and individuals/property stored after clean up.
The service also contains weigh in details when debris and refuse from encampments are disposed of. These records cannot be related to individual encampments because weigh ins are performed after cleaning several encampment locations.
Residents can report encampments through Inquire Boulder. Staff review report details, and add encampment response points. Response points can be immediately declined if the reported encampment is on private property, the responsibility of other organizations, or some other reason. If the City staff assume responsibility for the encampment, adding a camp response point opens up the ability to perform an inspection, post a notification, or initiate a clean up, depending on the need and operating within legal boundaries. Once cleaned, personnel can catalog property stored as a result of the clean up.
